Steelers announce 2018 preseason schedule, open vs. Eagles

For the third August in a row, Tampa Bay will spend its first two weeks on the road, heading to Nashville in Week Two to take on the Tennessee Titans.

For the Jacksonville Jaguars, there's a common theme for the opponents on the schedule this year.

The NFL released the Oakland Raiders' 2018 preseason schedule Wednesday. Again, the exact date and time for the game is to be determined.

The complete National Football League regular-season schedule is likely to be announced at the end of the month.

The Baltimore Ravens' 2018 preseason schedule has been released by the NFL.

The Ravens will have two home games and two away games.

The Panthers played the same four teams in the 2015 preseason, a year in which Carolina went 3-1 in the preseason and 15-1 in the regular season before winning the NFC Championship. Webb has not thrown a pass in a competitive situation against another team since the preseason finale in Foxborough against the Patriots previous year. The Redskins have won their last three preseason matchups against the Jets, including a 22-18 victory in the teams' most recent meeting on August 19, 2016.

The Texans haven't faced the Rams in the preseason since 2006, when Houston won 27-20.

They will also travel to New Orleans to play the Saints, which will be on the second time ever they have played in New Orleans in the preseason. None are nationally televised exhibitions, but they will be carried locally by KPIX Ch. 5.

As noted, the Buccaneers and Lions have never shared a preseason field before. While both teams picked up viable starting quarterbacks in AJ McCarron (Buffalo) and Tyrod Taylor (Cleveland), each team is absolutely in the market for a QB of the future and both will see significant time in this Week 2 matchup. Baltimore then hosts Los Angeles at M&T Bank Stadium in Week 1 of preseason play on Thursday, Aug. 9.

As usual, the Bengals will close the preseason against the Indianapolis Colts.
