Highlights From Last Night's Rock Hall Induction Ceremony

CLEVELAND Bon Jovi reunited with former members Richie Sambora and Alec John Such for a powerful performance on Saturday night as the band earned a spot in the prestigious Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The band was inducted and also took to the stage to perform a slew of hits including "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin" On A Prayer'.

Howard Stern took the mic last night to induct Bon Jovi into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and (of course) The King of All Media stole the show.

Overall, the Dire Straits Rock Hall Induction experience will be remembered for not having a proper presenter, as well as a performance. The Cars and four first-time nominees, including Nina Simone, Dire Straits, The Moody Blues and Sister Rosetta Tharpe, make up the 2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class.

After taped testimonials from the likes of Johnny Cash, Little Richard, Aretha Franklin and Jerry Lee Lewis, Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard inducted guitarist Sister Rosetta Tharpe, calling her "the godmother of rock "n" roll".

We snagged videos of all the visitors to the Rock Hall's press room. Band members thanked fans as they accepted their award after a speech from Ann Wilson, who praised their "natural intelligence".

The group then played "I'm Just a Singer in a Rock and Roll Band, ' 'Wildest Dreams, ' 'Nights in White Satin" and 'Ride My See Saw.' The ceremony will be aired in the USA by HBO on 5 May.
