OnePlus 5T leaked in full ahead of the launch

The OnePlus 5T is officially scheduled for its grand arrival on November 16, but thanks to a hands-on post that hit the web this weekend, we now know pretty much everything there is to know about the phone in advance. The sensor, for the first time on any OnePlus phone, goes on the back of the device because the front is nearly filled by the tall display, which is the trend several smartphones have followed this year.

Another glaring difference is that the aspect ratio is 18:9 and the home button has been done away with.

About the only mystery left with regards to the OnePlus 5T at this point is its official pricing and availability. According to the Geekbench scores, the OnePlus 5T is able to score almost 7,000 points in the multi-core test results.

Specs. Most of this has leaked already, but the OnePlus 5T will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 or 8 GB o RAM (depending on model), and 64 or 128 GB of storage. That screen is covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. The device is 156.1 x 75 x 7.2mm in size, thus being 1.9mm taller, 0.9mm wider, and 0.1mm thinner than its predecessor, in addition to weighing 162g instead of 153g. Another surprising fact is that the smartphone is running on Oxygen OS based on Android 7.1.1, given that Android Oreo has been there in the market for a considerable amount of time. It furthers confirms that the company will also introduce a 8GB RAM model of the OnePlus 5T smartphone.

The smartphone will have a 3,300 mAh battery that takes advantage of Dash Charge tech for faster charging. There are also two versions of the OP5T, one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The front-facing camera of the OnePlus 5T is a 16 MP one, while the dual rear-facing camera is a 16 MP and 20 MP one.

One detail that's still missing is the OnePlus 5T's price. If so, you'll be excited to learn that you don't have to wait until November 16th to learn all about the upcoming flagship.

From the looks of it, the OnePlus 5T is likely to have a similar RGB + Monochrome setup as Huawei's latest flagship devices. Connectivity options include: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 2.4/5 GHz, MIMO 2×2, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, and GLONASS.
