Otto Warmbier's body showed no signs of torture, coroner's reports says

Otto Warmbier's family speaks out on 'terrorist' North Korea in first interview after son's death

On the other hand, a local newspaper in the United States contradicts Warmbier's parents' by publishing a report created by the doctor who pronounced his death. It listed manner of death as "undetermined".

Warmbier was arrested in January 2016 after apparently attempting remove a propaganda sign from a hotel for worldwide visitors in Pyongyang.

His post followed the airing of an interview with Warmbier's parents.

Otto Warmbier (C), a University of Virginia student who was detained in North Korea and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment with hard labor.

Mr Warmbier said the first time they saw Otto after he arrived back in the U.S., their son was making a "howling involuntary, inhuman sound" and that his mouth looked as if "someone had taken a pair of pliers and rearranged his bottom teeth".

US President Donald Trump tweeted Warmbier was "tortured beyond belief" at the hands of North Korea.

. He was blind. He was deaf.

The findings of the Hamilton County coroner that examined "well-developed, well-nourished" Warmbier were inconsistent with the assertions of the boy's parents, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. His family did not want the coroner to perform an autopsy on his body.

"They're terrorists", Mr Warmbier said on Fox and Friends.

He also said that North Korea is claiming to be a victim that is picked on by the world but "we are here to tell you North Korea is not a victim. This pattern of brain injury however is usually seen as a result of cardiopulmonary arrest where the blood supply to the brain is inadequate ... resulting in the death of brain tissue", medical centre doctors said at the time. "They're terrorists", he said.

Otto Warmbier died on June 19, just six days after he was evacuated from North Korea, where he had been arrested for allegedly trying to steal a propaganda poster in January 2016.

"We weren't really certain what it was".

USA intelligence, however, reportedly indicated that Warmbier was abused, according to the New York Times.

Trump had previously blamed Pyongyang's "brutal regime" for Warmbier's plight but it was the first time the president publicly accused North Korea of torture in the case.

"It seemed like someone took a pliers and rearranged his teeth".

North Korean officials maintain that he contracted botulism and slipped intothe coma after taking a sleeping pill.

"No mother, no parent should ever have gone through what we went through".

The Hamilton County coroner has scheduled a news conference to discuss a newly released report on the examination of the body of a college student from OH who was held more than a year and died less than a week after his release from North Korea.
