Hillary Clinton Says She Won't Run For Office Again

06 2017 shows former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaking at the Eighth Annual Women in the World Summit at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City

HC was being interviewed by CBS Sunday, reflecting on her election loss (again) when she started describing the conundrum of whether she oughta show to Trump's Inauguration - y'know, 'cause she lost to him. but is also a former First Lady.

She said she had been prepped for that possibility, but once on camera, in front of tens of millions with Trump "scowling and leering" behind her, she faced a choice of either being "presidential" about it, or "Do I wheel around and say get out of my space, back up you creep!"

'I think I am good, ' Clinton answered when the CBS journalist asked her how she was.

Hillary Clinton thinks Donald Trump's Inauguration speech was actually a rallying cry for white nationalists. and she blurted that out on national television.

The day after Election Day, Clinton delivered an address where she told her followers she was sorry they didn't win but that the best days were still ahead.

Clinton said that stereotypes, sexism, and misogyny played a role in why people could not wrap their brains around electing a female president into office.

"Well, I thought Trump was behaving in a deplorable manner", she explained.

"I am done with being a candidate".

There was even a brief discussion of the infamous "basket of deplorables" smear Clinton launched against Trump's supporters.

In first television interview since her defeat, Hillary Clinton opens up on what went wrong in 2016

'I had not drafted a concession speech, ' she admitted.

"I thought a lot of his appeals to voters was deplorable".

"There were a large number of people who didn't care", Clinton said.

'I don't buy that, I don't buy that, ' Clinton responded when Pauley pointed out that she had offended some people.

Though the interview did not mention Clinton's perspective on the 2016 Democratic primary, many Democrats have privately and publicly grated at the release of the former candidate's book, noting that it reopens numerous intraparty fights that Democrats have been attempting to put behind them since the election.

"But you offended some people who didn't personally feel deplorable at all", Pauley continued.

CLINTON: I don't buy that at all.

"I understood that there were many Americans who, because of the financial crash, there was anger and there was resentment", she said. "I am done with being a candidate, but I am not done with politics because I believe our nation's future is at stake".
