Two arrested, charged with the murders of missing Bucks Co. men

Missing PA men update - 1 found dead

Two cousins have been charged in connection with the deaths of four missing men in Pennsylvania, after police found remains on a property owned by the family of one of the suspects. Suspects Cosmo DiNardo and Sean Michael Kratz, both 20, will face District Judge Maggie Snow at Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown.

Patrick was shot to death by DiNardo on July 5 as the two were alone on the farm, prosecutors charge.

ABC accessed the court documents with the full confessions of DiNardo and his cousin Sean Kratz, who has also been arrested and charged for involvement in the murders.

"As we are all deeply affected by this news, I encourage you to take care of yourself".

Police latched onto Dinardo after finding Meo's Nissan Altima and his diabetes kit on Dinardo's property.

He was arrested on Monday on an unrelated gun charge dating from February, accused of illegally possessing a shotgun and ammunition after being involuntarily committed to a mental institution.

The horrific case of four murdered young men wound to a close on Friday, as law enforcement officials announced they had apprehended the two men who police believe are exclusively responsible for the men's deaths and the disfigurement of their bodies.

On Thursday, DiNardo, of Bensalem admitted to killing all four men and told authorities where the bodies were located in an agreement to avoid the death penalty.

Finocchiaro's body was found Wednesday in what authorities described as a 12.5-foot-deep "common grave" on a 90-acre property in Solebury Township in Bucks County.

The district attorney of the county of Bucks, Matthew Weintraub said Thursday that the lifeless body of Dean Finocchiaro could be identified, which was not the case for the other bodies found. Cosmo DiNardo, a 20-year-old linked to a Pennsylvania farm at the center of a search for the four missing men, was arrested Wednesday, July 12, 2017, on charges he tried to sell one man's vehicle after he went missing, authorities said in announcing the first big break in the case. That's when Dinardo told investigators he agreed to sell Patrick four pounds of marijuana for $8,000. DiNardo claims Kratz shot Finocchiaro first, but Kratz reportedly denied this and said only DiNardo shot him. DiNardo told authorities that he and Patrick had arranged to meet on the farm for a marijuana drug deal, but once Patrick had arrived, DiNardo fatally shot him instead. Dinardo allegedly used the backhoe to lift their bodies up and put them in the metal tank with Finocchiaro's body, according to the complaint.

During a deal to sell marijuana later in the night to Meo and Sturgis, DiNardo shot Meo, The Daily Mail said.

It was the discovery of Meo's auto on a DiNardo family property a half-mile from the farm that led to DiNardo's re-arrest.

DiNardo also admitted his role in killing the three other men. DiNardo picked Kratz, his cousin, beforehand, and they drove to Finocchiaro's residence in Middletown Township.

On Thursday, his attorney was in Philadelphia court to request a continuance for further investigation in that case. Dinardo's bail was set at $5 million after the district attorney argued that he was a flight risk.

He told prosecutors he agreed to sell Finocchiaro a quarter pound of weed for $700 on Friday.

Dinardo and Kratz returned to the property the next afternoon and used the backhoe to dig a hole and bury Finocchiaro, Meo and Sturgis, the complaint says.

At this point, court documents say, Meo was screaming in pain and Dinardo climbed into a backhoe and ran over the injured Meo, killing him. Meo, 21, and Sturgis, 22, were friends and coworkers.
