Google's app update promises a better Search experience

Google Feed

As Google begins to curate the material it is showing to users, it will continue to attract attention from competition authorities - which earlier this year fined the company $2.42bn for abusing its dominance. Sure, we all have many things in common, but none of us has quite the same mix of passions, interests and goals as the next person. All you have to do is open the Google app and scroll up to get your feed up and running.

The new feature is speculated to be somewhat similar to Facebook "News Feed", but says it is not trying to duplicate Facebook, the world's largest social network. First of all, if you have tabs, the Feed button is transitioning into a home button.

"The feed will not only be based on your interactions with Google, but also factor in what's trending in your area and around the world".

Lastly, as the company's blog post reads, "The more you use Google, the better your feed will be".

As per your likes and dislikes the streaming of news feed will change and evolve more rapidly and this whole thing is possible due to AI. Although the company said that at an unspecified time "in the future" the mobile search site may well be getting the same look as the mobile app (with cards and so on), there are no plans to do the same with the desktop website. This trial began in December 2016, and the full news feed for smartphones will be added to apps in the U.S. first. The goal is to be able to provide a variety of viewpoints on the topics that users search most often. Google Feed might recommend links in light of a client's Google search history and also information from other Google administrations, for example, YouTube, Gmail and Google Calendar, the organization said.

Feed meThe new feed is created to save you the effort of looking for what you want.

The content goes deeper and is supposedly smarter for you specifically. But Google said that the reports are not accurate. Even try out specific queries like "Marathi plays in Mumbai", and Google will show you a number of options. And if you did, blame Google for releasing so many server-side tests. Whether you're a pet-loving, Nietzsche-reading, sports fanatic; a hip-hop head and burgeoning brewmaster; or anything in between, your feed should fit your fancy.

The company made a decision to bring its own news feed on the Google app, for users of both Android and iOS.
