West Ham United's 2017/18 schedule released

For the trio of newly-promoted clubs, their opening fixtures see second tier champions Newcastle host Spurs, whilst Premier League debutants Brighton entertain Manchester City and Huddersfield are away at Crystal Palace.

On Boxing Day, Chelsea are at home to Brighton, Liverpool take on Swansea at Anfield, United host Burnley and Tottenham play Southampton at Wembley.

While Chelsea may matter more to Mauricio Pochettino and his players, Arsenal will always be the biggest game of the season for Tottenham fans.

The 2017/18 Premier League fixtures have been announced, but which of the leading title contenders has the toughest finish to the season?

Spurs, who finished second behind winners Chelsea, played their Champions League and Europa League ties at Wembley last season - but won just one of four games.

Of the other promoted sides, Newcastle United are at home against last season's runners-up Tottenham.

The English Football League fixtures will be released on Wednesday, 21 June, and Scotland's fixtures two days later.

They'll open their campaign against Watford at Vicarage Road - the scene of Emre Can's Goal of the Season last campaign - with the first home game of the season coming against Crystal Palace a week later.

Albion's final home match of the season will be an Amex encounter with Manchester United, followed by a finale away at Liverpool. They take on Chelsea on 16 September and face rivals Tottenham on 18 November and 10 February.

Spurs played their European games at Wembley last season and struggled. However, for the first time in a while, the first derby will be held at Anfield.

Huddersfield will hope to have secured survival before their final four games, given they're against Chelsea (a), Everton (h), Man City (a) and Arsenal (h).

The challenge for Burnley is even greater as the champions have not lost on the opening day of the Premier League since going down to Coventry in 1998.

Newcastle boss Benitez goes back to Stamford Bridge to face former club Chelsea on the first weekend of December, while the Spaniard returns to another one of his former employers, Liverpool, on 3 March.

The North London derby is usually the first fixture Arsenal fans look for when the new schedule comes out.
